Short Profile

Friedrich Schulenburg is a partner at GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ in the CORPORATE practice. He advises German and International clients on all aspects of corporate law and capital markets law. In this area, he specialises in advising listed stock corporations on issues relating to stock corporation and capital markets law, including the preparation and conduct of (virtual) general meetings. Another focus of his work is advising in the context of structural measures under stock corporation and conversion law.

Friedrich Schulenburg studied law at the Universities of Constance and Munster with a focus on German and European corporate law. He holds an LL.M. degree in European Legal Studies from the University of Bristol. In 2016, Friedrich Schulenburg was awarded a doctorate from the University of Hamburg with a thesis on minority protection under the German Bondholders Act and the German Stock Corporation Act. He speaks German (mother tongue) and English and has basic knowledge in French.

In his leisure time, Friedrich Schulenburg spends as much time as possible with his wife and his children. He also likes to do sport (tennis, surfing, winter sports) and takes an interest in photography.
