Dr Lea Drees

Lea Drees is an Associate at GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ and works in the Corporate/M&A practice group. She advises domestic and international clients on M&A transactions, mergers and acquisitions as well as restructuring measures.

Lea Drees studied law at the University of Osnabrueck and spent a semester abroad in Budapest. In this context, she also completed a foreign law program in Anglo-American Law.

After completing her First Legal Exam in 2021, she worked as a research assistant at GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ in the Corporate/M&A practice group and obtained her doctoral degree at the University of Bochum on a topic related to labor and corporate law. 

During her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court Oldenburg, Lea Drees worked at a leading international law firm in the Corporate/M&A practice group and in the legal department of an international family-owned company. She passed the Second Legal Exam in 2025.

Besides her native language German, Lea Drees is fluent in English. In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as running and cycling.
