Martin Rücker is a managing counsel at GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ in the corporate practice. He advises and represents companies, shareholders, investors and corporate bodies in corporate and commercial law issues. The main focuses are stock corporation law, the law of limited liability companies, corporate governance and compliance issues, M&A-transactions as well as litigation. Martin Rücker also advises on foundation law.
Martin Rücker studied law at the University of Osnabrück and Péter Pázmány University of Budapest. In 2011, Martin Rücker was awarded a doctorate in law (Dr. jur) by the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn with a thesis on the corporate law-related implications of commercial activities of registered associations. While working on his doctoral studies, he inter alia worked as a research associate in the group legal department of IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG and at renowned international law firms. Martin Rücker has published a number of articles on corporation law, the law of foundations and associations and on M&A. As well as his native German, Martin Rücker is fluent in English.
