Sebastian Kleine is a counsel at GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ and works with the CORPORATE practice. He advises German and International clients on General Company Law, Transaction Businesses, Restructuring and particularly on Corporate Litigation.
Sebastian Kleine studied law at the University of Münster with a focus on corporate law; additionally, he completed a training programme for English/Common Law. He passed his legal state examinations in 2009 and 2011. While writing his dissertation on Debt to Equity Swaps, he worked at the Chair of Private Law, German and International Business Law (Prof Dr Christian Kersting, LL.M. (Yale)), where he received a doctorate in law from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf in 2014.
During his legal clerkship, Sebastian Kleine worked with an internationally operating law firm in Düsseldorf. Moreover, he worked at the Federal Cartels Office in Bonn and the European Commission in Brussels.
As well as his native German, Sebastian Kleine is fluent in English and speaks basic French.
In his spare time, Sebastian Kleine plays Hockey and tries to remain fit by various other physical activities. Moreover, he follows the matches of his hometown football club, Borussia Dortmund, with great enthusiasm.
