Jean Pascal Slotwinski-Michel is an associate at GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ in the COMPETITION practice and advises German and international clients on all issues relating to German and European antitrust law.
Jean Pascal Slotwinski-Michel studied law at the University of Osnabrück with a focus on competition law and intellectual property rights and passed his first state examination in law in 2013. He then worked as a research assistant in the field of antitrust law at a commercial and business law institute at the University of Osnabrück and completed an LL.M. degree at the University of Edinburgh from 2013 to 2014. Subsequently, he wrote his doctorate theses regarding a topic at the interface area between competition and patent law and worked for several years as a research assistant in a leading German law firm in Düsseldorf.
During his legal clerkship, Jean Pascal Slotwinski-Michel spent his legal traineeship at GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ as well as the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Mumbai, India, and a corporate law firm in Tel Aviv/Jerusalem, Israel. He passed the second state examination in law in 2019 in the district of the OLG Düsseldorf.
In addition to his native language German, Jean Pascal Slotwinski-Michel is fluent in English and has a good knowledge of Polish. In his spare time, he tries to spend as much time as possible travelling and with friends and family. In addition to his own sports activities such as running or playing squash, Jean Pascal Slotwinski is a passionate supporter of SV Werder Bremen.
