David Philipps

David Philipps works as a Project Lawyer at GLADE MICHEL WIRTZ in the Corporate department. He advises German and international companies on all aspects of corporate and capital markets law.

David Philipps studied law at the University of Bonn and the University of Wroclaw with a focus on international and EU law. While in Bonn, he completed a program for technical foreign language education in Anglo-American law. He passed the first state exam in 2016.

David Philipps then went on and studied international law at Glasgow University, graduating in 2019 with a Master of Laws (LL.M.).

During his legal clerkship, David Philipps worked, among other things, for a leading german law firm and the administrative court, both in Düsseldorf. He passed the second state exam in 2021.

Besides his native language German, David Philipps is fluent in English. Outside of work, it's likely to find him at a record store or in the football terraces supporting his favorite team, Hamburger Sport-Verein.
